I'm committed to using a client focused, evidence-based approach.
That means taking a careful assessment and both us agreeing on the goals of therapy and also the tasks of therapy (i.e. what needs to change to reach those goals). The methods that I use are all evidence-based - that means they are based broadly upon methods that have been shown to be effective in clinical research. For many issues this means an approach that is based up CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy).
I specialise in helping with anxiety and stress - and using a unique integration of hypnosis, mindfulness and CBT.
